A Love Bizarre (Part One)

REMIXES BY JERRY ROPERO • RUSS RICH • LEO FRAPPIER • ANDY ALLDER

San Francisco-based house DJ Russ Rich was born and raised in Minnesota and has been a life-long Prince fan, even working at Paisley Park Studios for two years in the mid-90s. “I grew up listening to his music. He was a hero in Minnesota, and working at Paisley Park was a dream come true. I was fortunate enough to see him countless times in concert, and during my time at Paisley, would occasionally run into him in the hallways and studio. When Prince died, I knew I wanted to do a project that would honor his music. ‘A Love Bizarre,’ is my love letter to Prince – a thank you for a lifetime of amazing music.”

“A Love Bizarre,” in its original version, is a duet sung by Sheila E and Prince. Once Rich decided on “A Love Bizarre,” he knew immediately which vocalist he wanted to work with on the track. Rich approached Debby Holiday about the project. Holiday, also a huge Prince fan, performed the song perfectly, delivering not only the lead “Sheila” vocal but also turning in a stunning “Prince” vocal line. Rich then approached two of his favorite sound engineers – Andy Allder to work with on a late-night “Afterhours” mix, and Leo Frappier, to produce a Peak-time main room club mix. Both mixes are featured on the first EP along with a Jackin’ House remix by the legendary house producer Jerry Ropero. A second EP remix package will follow in December 2017.

Uninvited (Remixes)

Steven Redant & Danny Verde present Bent Collective – Uninvited (Part 2)

“Uninvited,” the Remixes, follows the success of the pair’s Original Big Room & JimJam Tech House Remix released earlier this summer on Swishcraft. With additional Tech House, Progressive, Circuit / Tribal, and Late Night remixes by Dirty Disco, Oscar Velasquez, GSP and MSC, this Steven Redant & Danny Verde cover of the Alanis Morissette award-winning classic, has been reimagined with remixes that are fueled by oscillating synth ripples, euphoric swells, and thumping beats all amplified with an anthemic passion-igniting vocal.

Pout [Push Your Lips Out]

A musical commentary on the obsessions of selfies and the social media-driven world of reality television, Joe Moda’s debut single ’Pout (Push Your Lips Out)’ speaks to how social media is now today’s new mirror. However, the self-generated image is a skewed one at best.

Co-produced by New York hitmaker Mr. Migs (Steve Migliore), Moda and Swishcraft enlist a set of heavy hitter remix producers. Bojan, one half the Polish mega remix team WAWA, who’s remixed for Kylie, Chicane, Junior Jack and Che’Nelle have helped take artists to #1 on club and pop charts around the globe, presents a big room tribal remix teeming with thick chords and percussion-heavy beats sure to make ‘Pout’ a fully-fledged summer anthem. American team Dirty Disco, the Billboard #1 Remix team behind hits for club royalty including Debby Holiday, Inaya Day, Celeda, Jeanie Tracy & Pepper MaShay, fine tune this energetic anthem with darker chords over a rolling late nite vibe. Billboard #1 production team Division 4 & Matt Consola, who’s remix productions for Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani, Jess Glynn and Enrique Iglesias has made them a household name almost overnight, take a decidedly deeper and darker house approach to ‘Pout.’ While São Paulo, Brazil’s Felipe Angel applies his signature high-energy tribal meets progressive circuit sound that has made him one of Latin America’s top festival DJ’s and producers.

I Need A Man

Denver-based DJ and producer Craig C is back with a bang, and a banger, as ‘I Need A Man’ looks to follow in the footsteps of previous hit releases, the monstrous records ‘Every Night,’ ‘On My Mind’ with Ben A, and dance floor destroying remixes on ‘Cores’ by Tom Keller and ‘Faith’ for Division 4.

A club smash laced with a punchy baseline, catchy vocal hook and bouncy percussion, Craig infuses elements of house, disco and garage along with a ear-worm worthy vocal to create an uptempo dubby Original and Dubstramental that feels equally at home on radio airwaves as it does bouncing off club walls.

Joining the package is Canadian export turned Chicago house innovator, Karsten Sollors. A consummate and prolific producer for some house musics finest labels including Toolroom Records, UNDR THE RADR, Jungle Funk, Nervous and Farris Wheel Recordings, Sollors crates a sonic puzzle that combines tech, deep and techno elements, that continually gains him the support of pioneers likes Roger Sanchez and Gene Farris.

Also joining the package is one of Chile’s most popular DJ / Producers, Max Grandon. Combining his love for Tribal, Tech House and Progressive House, Max weaves a peak time tapestry of filthy tech baselines, heart pounding beats and soaring strings. A regular featured artist and remixer for some of the circuits most prominent record labels, including Pump Records, Queen House Music, and Swishcraft, Grandon’s remix comes on the heals of his Beatport charting hits ‘Slave 2Da Rhythm,’ ‘Here We Go’ and ‘Arriba.’

Butch Queen (Part 2)

Toronto based House Music pioneer Dwayne Minard returns with a follow-up to his smash Beatport, Traxsource and world wide indy dance chart hits, “I Like House,” “The Disco” and “Under Disco Lights.” “Butch Queen“ (Part 1) is a down and dirty deep tech-house inspired scorcher complete with samples from the infamous film Paris Is Burning.

The Original EP contained the Original Extended Mix and Gavin Bradley Vox Dub. These additional remixes, Dropping Friday, June 30th, include remixes by Billboard #1 producers Division 4 & Matt Consola (Mainstream House) and Dirty Disco (Big Room Peak Hour). Swishcraft Music is also excited to introduce the team Haus of Oz (Corey Craig & Bobby Duron) debuting their Deep, East Coast rhythms.

Uninvited (Part 1)

Collaboration is defined as two or more people working together to realize shared goals – it’s also the core principal of Bent Collective. Bent Collective is an engine for collaboration with a shared goal of fusing the talents of two of Europes biggest producer / DJ’s, Danny Verde (Italy) and Steven Redant (Barcelona).

Following up their 2016 chart topping club smash “Get Up, Stand Up!” on Swishcraft Music, the boys return with their Big Room take on the Alanis Morissette classic, “Uninvited” as her Grammy, Golden Globe,  ASCAP Film & TV Music Award winner and multi-chart #1 release off the City of Angles soundtrack is about to turn 20. A moody song that contains an indelible melody and haunting atmosphere accompanied by cryptic lyrics, The Bent Collective Club Mix sticks with the tracks original dark minor key, but kicks up the energy with their signature progressive melodies, powerful tribal infused beats and a fat bassline. “Both Danny and I have great memories of the original, when we were really young gazing at MTV for hours on end.  And we have such good memories of the Freemasons remix.  It was played for months and months on end.  As soon as that piano came in the crowd would start cheering. It was just unbelievable.”

An additional club and radio remix by Australia’s JimJam, has been included on Part One. The JimJam Extended Mix takes the track into Major Key territory as the track is presented with a sultry, tech house meets deep house vibe. Sure to be a summer dance floor scorcher, additional club mixes are set to follow mid summer 2017.

Butch Queen (Part 1)

Toronto based House Music pioneer Dwayne Minard returns with a follow-up to his smash Beatport, Traxsource and world wide indy dance chart hits, “I Like House,” “The Disco” and “Under Disco Lights.” “Butch Queen“ (Part 1) is a down and dirty deep tech-house inspired scorcher complete with samples from the infamous film Paris Is Burning. And the Gavin Bradley Vox Dub kicks up the energy with a ass shakin’ beat.

Additional remixes, Dropping Friday, June 30th, by Billboard #1 producers Division 4 & Matt Consola (Mainstream House) and Dirty Disco (Big Room Peak Hour). Swishcraft Music is also excited to introduce the team Haus of Oz debuting their Deep, East Coast rhythms.
